Reports suggest that he was a commander of the terrorist group operating out of Pakistan to Syria.

It is not known if the airstrike was launched by Russia or the US-led coalition – but a Washington insider has said they were targeting al-Nasr with a drone.

An Egyptian terrorist who escaped the bombing said that Sanari al-Nasr was not killed and now on the run.

Meanwhile, Russian aircraft have struck another 49 targets in the last 24 hours killing and wounding at least 300 fighters.
