In the wake of terrorist attacks in France thousands of European Jews are now considering emigrating to Israel, Canada and USA.

A former president of Belgium Jewish Association, Betty Dan is organizing  property sales for 200 Jewish families in Brussels and contemplating herself emigrating to Israel.

-A few years ago it was old Jews, who wanted to move to Israel to enjoy sun and cultural heritage of their forefathers.

Now it is young people with children who sell their houses and leave everything behind. They are scared. It is very painful. I am Belgian-born woman – my culture and my friends are here. My daughter never, never, thought to leave. Now, she is ready to go to Israel.

Community leaders now speak with alarm of a rising of Antisemitism in Belgium,  country that has been home to Jews since Roman times.

-European Jews are praying at home. They are afraid to go Synagogues. Some of them are planning to leave. There is no future for Jews in Europe.

Declared the chief Rabbi, Avraham Guigui, speaking on Israeli radio
