Much ado about nothing! Marihuana Is Worth Of $70 Million In Colorado State Revenue

US history is made Colorado on Monday became the first state in U.S. history to issue special  retail licenses for recreational marijuana businesses.

“We are grateful voters approved funding that will allow for a strong regulatory environment, just like liquor is regulated,” Gov. John Hickenlooper (D) told Reuters after voters approved the regulations suggested by state authorities.

The very first time in US history a special licenses for recreational marijuana businesses is issued.Colorado to issue hundreds of licenses for recreational marijuana businesses.

Colorado’s Marijuana Enforcement Division approved 348 licenses: 136 to pot shops, 31 to marijuana-infused products companies, 178 to growing facilities, and three to marijuana-testing laboratories.

What is more important, Colorado Legislative Council projected it would generate nearly $70 million in additional state tax revenue next year. It is said that the first $40 million has already been set aside for school projects.

Much ado about nothing!
