Is New York City is still a right place for United Nation Headquarter

We all know that UN was established as “new world order coordinator” with a good intention to prevent World War III. The idea of creation of the United Nations came from USA President Franklin D. Roosevelt. During  World War II he  introduced this idea to his good friend  Winston Churchil, British Prime-Minister  and Comrade Josef Stalin of Soviet  Union and on October 24 of 1945 the UN began its operations. That was 70 years ago. What happened during all those years?

70th Session of the UN General Assembly

During 70 years of its existence this humongous bureaucratic money-eating machine has been involved in many “glorious endeavors” such as attempts to prevent wars in Middle East, Vietnam, Afghanistan and so forth.

We will not mention many “little dirty wars” in Africa. There were many other efforts from New York City Administration no remove the main headquarter of the UN from New York City to other location somewhere in Europe, Russia or Africa.

Here goes the question.

Why this gigantic international bureaucratic organization machine is still in New York?

The 70th Regular Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 70) is scheduled to open at UN Headquarters on Tuesday, 15 September 2015. Check the latest traffic closure THE UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY
