One tube HUGH L. CAREY (FORMERLY BROOKLYN BATTERY) TUNNEL WILL BE CLOSED. 

  • Monday to Friday between 9:30 pm
  • from 8 pm Friday to 5:30 am Monday
CLOSURES MEANS LIKELY CONGESTION AND INTERRUPTION THE NORMAL FLOW OF TRAFFIC IN THE AREA IN MANHATTAN AND BROOKLYN. One tube HUGH L. CAREY (FORMERLY BROOKLYN BATTERY) TUNNEL is closed to facilitate tunnel repairs through 2018

 

BROOKLYN – QUEENS

GRAND STREET BRIDGE OVER NEWTOWN CREEK will be completely closed to vehicular, pedestrian and bicycle traffic

  • Saturday from 7 am to 3 pm to
GRAND STREET BRIDGE OVER NEWTOWN CREEK will be completely closed to facilitate NYCDOT Bridges maintenance.

PULASKI BRIDGE OVER NEWTOWN CREEK. ONE LANE in either direction will be closed

  • Saturday from 7 am to 3 pm to
PULASKI BRIDGE OVER NEWTOWN CREEK will be partially closed to facilitate NYCDOT Bridges expansion joint removal and installation.

QUEENS – MANHATTAN

ED KOCH (QUEENSBORO) BRIDGE 58TH STREET ENTRANCE RAMP ONE OF TWO LANES ON THE 58TH STREET ENTRANCE RAMP TO THE SOUTH UPPER ROADWAY TO QUEENS will be closed

  • Saturdays and Sundays from 8 am to 2:30 pm
ED KOCH (QUEENSBORO) BRIDGE 58TH STREET ENTRANCE RAMP ONE OF TWO LANES ON THE 58TH STREET ENTRANCE RAMP TO THE SOUTH UPPER ROADWAY TO QUEENS will be closed to facilitate NYCDOT Bridge component rehabilitation work on the 58th Street entrance ramp deck.

ONE LANE IN EACH DIRECTION ON THE LOWER ROADWAY OF THE ED KOCH QUEENSBORO BRIDGE will be closed

  • Saturdays between 8 am and 2 pm
  • Sundays between 8 am and 2 pm
ONE LANE IN EACH DIRECTION ON THE LOWER ROADWAY OF THE ED KOCH QUEENSBORO BRIDGE will be closed for pothole repairs.

One lane of traffic will be maintained at all times

THE MANHATTAN-BOUND (NORTH) TUBE OF THE QUEENS MIDTOWN TUNNEL will be closed

  • from 9 pm Friday to 5:30 am Monday

THE QUEENS-BOUND (SOUTH) TUBE OF THE QUEENS MIDTOWN TUNNEL will be closed

  • from 9 pm Friday to 5:30 am Monday

TUBES OF THE QUEENS MIDTOWN TUNNEL will be closed for ongoing Superstorm Sandy restoration work

One lane in each direction will always remain open in the other tube when one tube is closed.

MANHATTAN – THE BRONX

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS BRIDGE OVER HARLEM RIVER one lane at a time will be closed

  • from 10 pm Friday, November 17, 2017 to 6 am Saturday, November 18, 2017
UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS BRIDGE OVER HARLEM to facilitate NYCDOT Bridges maintenance and cleaning. One lane of traffic will be maintained at all times.
CLOSURES MEANS LIKELY CONGESTION AND INTERRUPTION THE NORMAL FLOW OF TRAFFIC IN THE AREA IN MANHATTAN AND THE BRONX

 

MANHATTAN

FDR DRIVE (NORTHBOUND) BETWEEN EAST 42ND STREET AND EAST 49TH STREET ONE OF THREE LANES will be closed northbound

  • from 11 pm to 5:30 am Monday night to Friday morning, 12:01 am to 6:30 am Saturday
  • from 1 am to 11 am Sunday, through December

FDR DRIVE (NORTHBOUND) BETWEEN EAST 42ND STREET AND EAST 49TH STREET ONE OF THREE LANES will be closed to facilitate NYCDOT Bridges seawall assessment.

THE PARK AVENUE TUNNEL will be closed

  • from 9 pm Friday to 6 am Monday 
THE PARK AVENUE TUNNEL WILL BE CLOSED TO EXCAVATE AND PREPARE THE TUNNEL FOR INSTALLATION OF A NEW BELOW GRADE DRAINAGE SYSTEM.
Traffic will be routed to the adjacent north bound service road. 

THE WEST STREET UNDERPASS (TO THE BROOKLYN-BATTERY TUNNEL) will be partially closed

  • on Saturday from 1 am to 8 am
THE WEST STREET UNDERPASS will be closed to facilitate bridge rehabilitation work. Motorists should follow posted detours.

  • West 17th Street between 11th Avenue and 10th Avenue (Highline)>>from 6 am Saturday to 9 pm Sunday
  • West 20th Street between 11th Avenue and 10th Avenue>>Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm
  • West 21st Street between 6th Avenue and 5th Avenue>>Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm
  • East 54th Street between Park Avenue and Madison Avenue>>Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm
  • East 71st Street between 5th Avenue and Madison Avenue>>Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm
  • East 75th Street between Madison Avenue and Park Avenue>>Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm
  • East 98th Street between Lexington Avenue and 3rd Avenue>>Saturday and Sunday from 8 am to 6 pm
  • East 104th Street between Park Avenue and Lexington Avenue>>9 am to 5 pm Saturday
  • West 155th Street between Bradhurst Avenue and Frederick Douglass Boulevard;
    West 155th Street between Fredrick Douglass Boulevard and Harlem River Drive Service Road>>
    These streets will be fully closed to traffic from 9 pm to 5 am Monday, November 13, 2017 to Saturday, November 18, 2017, to facilitate NYCDOT Bridges structural steel repairs on the above viaduct. Motorists should follow the posted detours.
  • Greenwich Street between Rector Street and Carlisle Street>>10 pm Friday to 11:59 pm Sunday
  • Fulton Street between Dutch Street and William Street>>from 9 pm Friday to 11:59 pm Sunday
  • Fulton Street between William Street and Gold Street>>9 pm Friday to 11:59 pm Sunday
  • Fulton Street between Nassau Street and Dutch Street>>9 pm Friday to 11:59 pm Sunday
  • Franklin Street between Church Street and Franklin Place>>Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm
