France will also intent to increase its support to rebel groups battling ISIS on the ground in Syria, said French President Hollande .

-What we agreed, and this is very important, is to strike only ISIS terrorists and to support Syrian military groups that are fighting against them. It is crucial in that period to prevent any  escalation of further bloodshed. The only goal we have is to neutralize terrorists, there is no other goal, said Mr. Hollande.

Vladimir Putin speaking at press-conference after meeting French President, said that Russia was willing to cooperate with both France and the US-led coalition to fight selected terrorist groups in Libya.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has also promised to cooperate with Russia to fight ISIS.
