Street Closures for UN General Assembly

CLOSURES MEANS LIKELY CONGESTION AND INTERRUPTION THE NORMAL FLOW OF TRAFFIC IN THE AREA IN MANHATTAN, BROOKLYN, AND QUEENS

 

The Roosevelt Island Bridge will be closed intermittently to all vehicular, pedestrian and bicycle traffic for up to 15 minutes at a time between 7 am and 7 pm from

  • 12-25 September 2017

 to accommodate marine traffic diverted to the East Channel of the East River because of the security closure of the West Channel.
